By creating an account or otherwise using CompletionKit ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
CompletionKit is a hosted application for managing, versioning, and evaluating large-language-model prompts, operated by Homemade Software Inc. ("we", "us"). Self-hosted use of the open-source completion-kit engine is governed separately by its source-available license; these terms apply only to the hosted Service at completionkit.com.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@completionkit.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You agree not to use the Service to:
Upgrading to a paid plan starts billing immediately — there is no trial period. Paid plans renew automatically at the interval you selected (monthly or yearly) until cancelled. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period — we do not pro-rate.
We may change pricing for future renewals on 30 days' notice. Continued use after the change constitutes acceptance.
You retain all rights to the prompts, datasets, responses, and judgments you submit to or generate via the Service ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process Your Content solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service for you. We will not use Your Content to train models for third parties.
The Service routes LLM requests to third-party providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, OpenRouter, and any others you configure). Those providers' terms apply to their handling of the content you send through them. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with their terms.
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We may schedule maintenance windows and will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice for non-emergency maintenance.
You may delete your account at any time from the account page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, with notice where reasonable. On termination we will delete Your Content within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Riverside County, California.
We may update these Terms; the "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Material changes will be announced via email to account holders at least 14 days before they take effect.
